Great engineers don’t automatically build great businesses. This course teaches the business of managed services: how to turn technical skill into a profitable, valuable company built on recurring revenue. It’s written for the technical founder – especially a UC/telecom/security engineer – who wants a concrete path from ‘I can fix IT’ to ‘I run an MSP.’
Across five practical modules you’ll learn the managed-services model and the MRR engine; the MSP tech stack (RMM, PSA, documentation, security) and how to price for profit; operations – the ticket lifecycle, the NOC, and standardization; sales, client onboarding and retention via QBRs; and security plus the KPIs that actually run the business. Every concept is reinforced with diagrams, quizzes and real-world cases.
You will be able to: explain & build the recurring-revenue model – choose your stack & pricing – design SLAs, tickets & NOC operations – win, onboard & retain clients – and manage the MSP by its key metrics. A natural complement to the GVIT technical track for engineers who want to own the business, not just the network.
